Ezra sees Eli for the first time ...
He wasn't very impressed. He was actually kind of nervous (see picture). Later in the day he came back to visit at the hospital and saw me nursing Eli. Ezra was very sad and kept saying to the baby, "Go 'way. Oh go 'way."
I missed my big boy.
Chelsea and Henry came to visit. Henry was immediately interested in Eli.
This is Alex, though she and Chelsea happened to be wearing the exact same outfit. Even their hair was similar.
Beautiful Grandma Coco.
Tired (but happy) Daddy.

I LOVE YOU FOR POSTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AHHHHHH....
that is SO heart breaking about Ezra...ooooohh...he is so, so, so, so, so cute!!!
Love you guys!
Gramma passed along the "go away baby". Well, we saw the same thing here at first. I love the picture of Ezra laying on your chest. Those are the gestures that'll get him to come around. They'll be best friends with occassional bouts of "unhappiness", ha. Check our Oct 2006 page and you'll see almost an identical look on Ezra and Zoie's faces. It'll be great. They'll love each other and especially with all the love and doting from everyone. The pix are great. Love from the farm, Jean
Congratulations, Jade and family. Once you have had one, baby is the easy part -- it's working with your older child to help them feel adjusted that is so hard. When I had Charlie I felt like the most difficult part was being away from John for so long.
I'm so happy for you! Can't believe we have had both of our babies so close together (again).
Amy
Ok, thanks so much for posting again. I can't get enough of these. This is when living on the other coast is for the birds.
Oh my gosh Jade, those pictures are so precious. I love that one of Ezra standing in the background behind Carol. He is too darling for words.
