"Never, Banana!"

Somehow Ezra learned the word "never". He's not totally clear on the exact meaning but he knows it's a word that should be said very forcefully. The other night I was trying to help him with his eating habits. I told him he needed to eat some banana before he had ice cream. He pointed his little finger at me and yelled, "Never, banana! I don't eat banana!" This was news to me since he eats a banana almost daily. I tried not to smirk and continued coaxing him with the banana. In the end, he ate neither the banana nor the ice cream.

"Never" has infiltrated other parts of his life besides food. "Never, carseat!","Never take a shower!", etc.
