Trip to Washington

This past weekend we went up to Washington to visit family. It was so great to see everyone (sorry we missed you Jean and Bill - but maybe you're just a little glad we decided not to "share" our germs with you? (David was getting over a bug and Ezra caught it while we were there. Great timing.)
Kirk and Valerie took us to a beautiful little place in/near Bellingham called Fairhaven. It was such a quaint little town, it almost felt like the Truman Show. It was a gorgeous day too. Thanks Kirk and Valerie for letting us stay at your wonderful house!
Valerie and Ezra.

Mom, Kirk (who is my mom's brother) and Valerie.

Gramma Alice and Eli. Thanks Gramma for all the books and toys!

We stopped at Ty and Carrie's house and saw their cute kids. I ditched Ezra and David up in Bellingham since Ezra's face was green and he needed quick access to the bathroom, but if he knew what he missed I know he'd be sad he didn't make it. Those guys have so many fun toys and things to play with.

Vance has an electric truck that he drives like he's be driving for years. When he pulled up in his truck, Eli was clearly interested in what was going on. So we put Eli in with Vance (a 1 year old and a 2 1/2 year old) and it was so funny. The radio actually works too, so when Vance turned it on, Eli started dancing. It was so cute to watch.

Little Arya.

Zoie was so excited about her huge watermelon piece. It was fun to watch her try to get her mouth around it.

One of the coolest toys was a springless trampoline. I love trampolines. I had to get on and jump. I couldn't help myself.

I love all the pictures! Looks like such a fun trip. Pretty soon we'll be close enough to join up for those trips and I'm so excited.

Great pix. We've heard about "Eli's mom" on the trampoline. Zoie's in awe of you. Love the look on Eli's face in the Monster Truck. Gramma loved the visit.

I hope Erza can visit another day. The kids will have great fun with both him and Eli. You are always welcome to stay here when you visit Gramma Alice as we have plenty of room to accommodate guests, including a family of four.

Wow, sista! Nice back flip. You impress me.

Great pictures of Washington. Henry would have been thrilled to be at Ty and Carrie's. I want to steal their toys! Such a fun place...
