B-A-G!

Ezra has been sounding out letters and "reading" small words. But mostly it has been because he recognizes the word already or he guesses or I help him sound it out. But last night he started sounding out words for the first time on his own. He would go through each letter and sound it out, doing it again and again, faster and faster until he could hear the whole word. I got a video of it.

Seriously? HOW old is Ezra?

Your child is a genius and you are crazy skinny and cute.

Dang . . . I need to get my act together.

Ezra, you are brilliant and perfect. I love his enthusiasm. Knowledge is POWER!!! Now, I am stuck with hearing every single billboard and sign out loud as we drive down the street! Hahahahaha.

Ezra, you're a wizard. I love how patient you were to sound out the word. You're awesome. One day you'll love being able to share these videos with your kids. We just gave Carrie Ty's ancient VHS HS b-ball tapes to transfer to disc. We know how old they are since the b-ball shorts are actually short.
