We stopped using day diapers for Eli when we got to Thailand, partly because they are bulky so we only brought night diapers, partly because they are expensive, but mostly because we knew he could do it (and Thailand is the perfect place to potty train because all the floors are tile - easy cleanup - and because it's so warm, it's easy to go diaper-free without worrying about kids getting cold).
He has been doing so well, even through all of our travels and changes. I'm so proud of you Eli!
We found a house in an area just outside the city. I'll post pictures of the house later, but here is the street in front of our house. If you look closely you can see our resident herd of cattle sitting in our neighbor's front yard (we are up the road about 50 yards from where I took the picture).
We've had to do a lot of shopping to outfit our house and we found this Chinese warehouse store (think Costco but Chinese). There is an aisle just for pots. I love the size of some of these - why use 20 normal-sized pots when just one will do the trick?
Also, would you care for some top ramen with your roach spray? Good combo! There's also diapers with a free bottle of dish soap.
I got a picture of Ezra wai-ing! Originally I was just going for the turtles and fish and then he wai-ed the lady right when I took the picture.
It's been a hard week so we thought a little ice cream was in order.

Good boy, Eli! And way to go Ezra with your wai-ing! Love the huge pot and the cockroach spray/raman combo. I see the logic. It's like bait and then kill.
Can't wait to see pictures of your house.
I love that pot, the roach spray...and Ezra Wai-ing! How sweet! Haha! I also love your ride.
You are hilarious Jade. Everything is so interesting. I'm glad you're cataloging events and taking pictures. We miss you all so much. so proud of Eli's T. training progress.
Woah! That pot is huge!
And that ramen add-on totally reminds me of Taiwan and the combos you'd find in grocery stores there.
Your neighborhood looks beautiful! How cool to have cattle roaming around.
