This little piggy got some food.
Nick and Tik's pig had her piglets last night and they invited us over to take a look. I'm pretty sure nothing is cuter than baby animals. They looked just like they do in the movies. Perfectly pink peach fuzz, climbing and falling all over each other to get to mom. There were ten of them and no runts. Ezra and Eli were stoked. Ezra wanted to poke them with banana leaves and Eli just wanted to pet them and hold them. I'm pretty sure Nick said something about waiting for a few days to hold them, but when he was out of range, Tik took Eli in the pen for a quick pat. Eli was beside himself.

Oh my goodness how SWEET!!! Little piglets are one of *the* cutest baby animals on my list.
There is NOTHING cuter than a baby pig! Except 10 baby pigs! Are you kidding me? Eli's grin says it all. Thrilled. Delighted. Oink oink.

this my be tommy's favorite post ever! He thinks you live on a farm and will be sorely dissapointed if he doesn't see some major animal time on our trip :)
also, i am starting to rethink some of those "necessary if handling livestock or visiting rural areas" vaccines ... :)i can't wait - so soon!
Jade, these pictures are exquisite. The pigs couldn't be more soft and pink and the pictures of Eli are breathtaking. Love all of it.
Okay, I saw that piggy pic as your fb profile pic- but I thought it was a painting! That is amazing that is a really piggy!!! So fun you got to see them as newborns!
