our lane

David went to go eat some dinner so I took the boys out for a nice evening walk down our lane. In this first picture, our house is just behind me on the left.

Eli's many faces. He loves these jean shorts because he can put things in his pockets. They are actually cut-offs from his cousin Sam that Ezra wore when he was 2 too.

There are little piles of sand on the side of the road everywhere. I think it's leftover from construction of some sort, but it quickly gets turned into a play area for kids.
This is one of our neighbors. I just met him today - he invited me into his yard to try one of the fruits he was collecting in his umbrella. He was doing it for his mom (in the background).
 Daddy's back!
Ezra wanted to have a race...
checking to see if Daddy's ahead...

Arghhhhhhh! I'm smitten. I need to hold, hug, squeeze those little guys. Eli is so cute in those jeans with his hands in his pockets! His facial expressions! I can hardly stand it. He's growing long and lanky like his dad. We feel like we are missing so much. Thanks for the update!

Was I perfectly clear how incredible those photos are? also love that Ezra is competing with his dad on his bike.

I love this family. I want to be this family when I see these pictures. How adorable is Eli? His blond hair and golden skin and sweet, knowing face. Ahhhh, such a pleasure.

Your pictures tell so much! I love, love, love it. Can I be you Jade? Eli is getting so tall and lean! And his sweet face! Ezra too. The big tree must have been sheer heaven. And what fruit was growing in that other tree?

Hey Marisa - the fruit was a kind of small, light yellowish-green sour apple. They grow everywhere and people love to munch on them. The guy gave Ezra and Eli a handful but the kids were a little disappointed in how sour they were, haha.
