Loy Krathong is a big holiday in Thailand. The idea is to make these pretty little floats, light a candle on them, and then send them out onto a lake or river or other body of water. There are also tissue lanterns that people light and let them float up into the air. We went to our favorite park (Nong Prajak) to watch the festivities and for the most part, the boys loved it (Eli hated the fireworks - see picture below).
We didn't know there would be a fireworks show and were pleasantly surprised at how big (and quick) it was. Eli flipped out though.
No, your eyes do not deceive you. These are baby bunnies wearing dresses.

BEST. POST. EVER. loving the glasses, the bunnies and the floating lanterns! Those are going to be in the new movie 'Tangled' that Sabine is DYING over herself to see on Thanksgiving. haha, how cool that her cousins got to see them in real life. Awesome.
Magical! David looks like such a spiff and handsome dad with the boys. It seems "Loy Krathong" is something wonderful. Love the dimples on that beautiful Thai girl. Anad the bunny glasses on mr. expressive. Hilarious.
Oh! and that one of Ezra and Eli holding the cages is priceless! I love their expressions. Bunnies in skirts give me the giggles.
